Natasha Watson
Ballet tutor
Natasha Watson is a classical ballerina and tutor. She received a BA in Dance with First Class Honours and was subsequently awarded a full scholarship to pursue a Masters in Education (Learning and Teaching in the Performing Arts) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Natasha has performed with Scottish Ballet in the world première of Hansel and Gretel and with English National Ballet in their production of Swan Lake in the round at the Royal Albert Hall and in their touring production of Cinderella. Natasha has danced in several countries and performed an array of principal roles including Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and the title role of Giselle.
Natasha received the prestigious Solo Seal from the Royal Academy of Dance and a bronze medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition. In 2015, she was the only British dancer selected to compete in the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland. Natasha has developed a keen interest in choreography. In 2017, she was awarded both the Phyllis Bedells Choreographic Award and the Genée Dance Challenge Choreographic Award by the Royal Academy of Dance.
